ABOUT US

We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints living and serving right here in Rocklin and Granite Bay.

While this is not an official site of the Church, it’s managed and maintained with love by members who live here. We come from 9 different congregations that gather in 4 different meetinghouses throughout Rocklin and Granite Bay, and visitors are always welcome. In the meantime, we hope you’re able to find uplifting content here and on our various social media profiles.

Becky Wright of Rocklin stake was honored last night by RUSD for her service to the community. Here are some excerpts from Principal Kathy Goddard's presentation:"We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Becky Wright for her exceptionaldedication and invaluable contributions to Cobblestone Elementary School’s musicprogram. Becky, with support from her two daughters, Krissa (9th grade at Whitney) andLyndsey (7th grade at Springview) as well as her husband Justin, has demonstrated anunwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant musical environment and enriching thelives of our young students through her enthusiastic volunteer work. From the moment Becky began our choir program as a volunteer, her passion for musicand genuine interest in nurturing the talents of our students became abundantly clear. It is not surprising that she has had over 50 children each session participate in choir! For over 9 years, Becky has seamlessly integrated herself into our school community, devoting countless hours to rehearsals, performances, and administrative tasks thatkept our after-school choir program running smoothly. Her organizational skills, creativeideas, and willingness to go above and beyond have been instrumental in planning successful school assemblies and events in the Rocklin community, including concerts at the Fountains, Starbucks, Borders, and Quarry Park Adventures. By volunteering hertime and expertise Becky has also demonstrated the profound impact that parents canhave on enriching the educational experience of our students. In recognition of her outstanding dedication and remarkable contributions, I am proud tohonor Becky tonight. Her selflessness, creativity, and commitment to the arts have trulymade a lasting impression on our school community and helped hundreds of studentsexperience the joy of music." History was made on Sunday, September 17 when 3 new temples were dedicated! The temples in Bentonville, Arkansas, Moses Lake Washington, and Brasilia, Brazil, were each dedicated by one of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Members from the corresponding temple districts gathered for a day of sacred rejoicing. The Sacramento temple was dedicated just over 17 years ago on September 3, 2006, by President Gordon B Hinckley. Were you there? What do you remember about that day?The Feather River Temple will be dedicated on Sunday, October 8th by Elder Ulisses Soares. Rocklin stake is not in the new temple district and will not attend the dedication, but we rejoice with those who do in this sacred experience. #templesofthechurchofjesuschristoflatterdayasaints #ilovetoseethetemple #featherrivertemple #sacramemtotemple ...
