Easter Sunday is coming up quickly on March 31st. In General Conference last year, Elder Gary Stevenson asked an insightful question:
“How do we model the teaching and celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Easter story, with the same balance, fulness, and rich religious tradition of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas story?”
We’d like to propose three things for your consideration:
- Identify either something you can give up between now and Easter to make more room for the Savior, or add in a new holy habit, or both!
- A simple, yet purposeful personal or family study of the Savior each day of Holy Week leading in to Easter Sunday. The Church has prepared prompts for each day of that week that you can find at this link: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist/easter/holy-week
